I wound up contacting the company that took over Celwave (RFS World) and they sent me the data sheet for the antenna. I attached it here for those interested. I'm guessing by the information they sent I could use it for working Satellites on the 400MHz frequency range? I just need to find an N...
I am wanting to build a 2 Meter Yagi and have been looking through Google at all the different articles about building different designs. To be honest, right now I'm on information overload. I saw a few that I liked and thought I might be able to handle building but I still don't know anything...
So given all that has been posted, what would the antenna be good for? Sending digital?
Boom length is 28 inches
Driven Element is 6 1/4 inch
Reflector is 7 3/8 inch
Directors are 5 5/8 inch
Today at work I was given an antenna and I'm not sure what kind it is. I'm pretty sure its a 2 Meter antenna but other than that its a mystery to me. I'm including some pictures in hopes someone might recognize it. Also, can anyone tell me what that connector is called. I just got home so I'm...

I have a couple old CB's that were given to me years ago and I would like to try and keep them as nice as possible. I don't use either at all but was wondering what is the best way to store them and keep them nice.
I'm wanting to get something from BestBuy because I have a credit account with them. I was looking earlier and found a CAT to USB cable for my radio so I suppose any decent laptop will do. Thanks for the info pro151. I would like to get into digital as well as attempt to learn morse code.
I'm looking to buy a Laptop and was wondering if there is anything specific or any special features I should look for in one when considering using it for Amateur Radio.
I was wondering what is the longest time any of you have ever left your radio on? I set mine up to scan the 10 Meter frequencies that I can talk on as a Technician and was wondering if there is some general guideline that should be followed as far as how long a radio should be left on.
I went up on the roof to turn the tuning rings that the antenna has. I just got things out of whack. It was getting late, dark, and the wind was picking up. That on top of a very long day, I just didn't have the will power for another trip. I will go back up and try to reset everything tomorrow...
