The board is the 3600-14b board and the problem was tr-32 had on leg clipped. I solidered it back and modulation is awesome now. Sad that some hacker cb shop would do something like that to a nice radio. But she is fine now. Thanks for the help 73,ssssss

I have a rm Italy kl-503 amp and now my preamp isn't working correctly. When I turn on the preamp my signal drops down to nothing and when I turn it back off it goes back to normal. But it defintly isn't boosting the signal like it use to do it kills it now. Thank for any help....

This is only happening on side band am is fine no feedback problems no squealing reports say its loud and clear on am. But when I go to ssb and just key the mic up it jumps to 30 watts right off without saying a word into the mic.
