Maybe one bug. When paired with bluetooth to APRSDroid, and the USB/serial cable is plugged in, the bluetooth tx line does not work, but the device still receives fine. Messaging in APRSDroid is as close to text messaging as it is going to get. It worked so well, it might as well replace SMS...

That's a neat idea. I thought I had read somewhere that the dual watch feature could not actually be turned off. I do not know what that toggle does. Maybe the dual watch actually does turn off, and just the "B" VFO display remains? (O, yes, I just confirmed. That wasn't too hard).

Is it possible to turn off the dual display/watch and make this radio use just one frequency? I'm fiddling with Menu 7 TDR and turning dual watch off, but I cannot see what it does since the display still shows both frequencies.

It works great. A little hard to install, had to manually register dll and ocx files, then had to flash the firmware of the device before an upload would stick. BT works well with APRSDroid and shows the received packets or nodes, etc.

I noticed it seems that SDR Console V2 was last updated Jan 2013 (almost two years ago) and SDR# has continual updates all year to date. That almost invalidates all the discussion on which of the two SDR software to get that I've read. Slow boat from China!
