Is the input circuit around kt907 for impedance matching? Decided to rework my amp project into a mono lowband AM transmitter with modified heising modulation with a toroidal transformer. I would rather use a grounded grid scheme for the gu-50.

I thought the input impedance was 50k, the amplified version of the d-104 stand is matched from the hi-z element through the amp board to about 600ohms. Is the audio affected at all?
