    This radio is a true screwdriver special.power out is controlled by mic gain,output power on front panel doesn't do anything,has switch on back for power mod,lol,but came with dual fans..wow!!

    30' pushup and Starduster-400

    Greetings Gentlemen, I have a modified maco v5000 a homemade 1/4 wave and a antron 99 and finally a starduster.The starduster is a fine entry level antenna but I would change a clamps and connectors to stainless ,the ones that came with it aren't top notch...But A fine antenna and underrated!

    I also have a12 tube d&a phantom with fresh tubes,although I have a closet full of 6lq6 and many other tubes...don't drive the thing with more than about 6 watts if you wanna get any longevity preferably 2-4 watts outta this amp and it should do you good.I have had mine for 12 years puts out 800...

    BLJ 300 Anyone????

    Greetings, I have both a blj300 and a blj 400,My blj300 uses 1 20lf6 driving 4 20lf6 on a 4watt dk on low about 380 or so on hi about 600watts all day long on my bird meter.My blj400 uses 23js6 tubes 1 drving 4 and does about the same!Excellent amps for for sweep tubers!Just don't drive them...
