Tubes ok so that was not the problem . The relay looks good and keys like it should but with a nice loud pop and spark every 3 or 4 key up. Beautiful amp any more ideas???????

I went with the Gizmotchy but added another element and made it a 4 element beam and I am so happy with the results. It has been through a Michigan winter with no problems and I seem to talk to anyone I can hear.

Checked blocking disc capacitors and they are ok not sure if I can increase value cannot find any info. I have been suggested to check tubes for a plate voltage short and doing that this weekend. thanks for the replys.

I have a Gizmotchy 3 element beam and a Jo Gunn Smoking Gun 2 element beam which one of these is the better beam . I am putting it up on a 40 foot tower? I like how heavy duty built the Jo Gunn is but Gizmotchy is a 3 element. Their specs are pretty close.! Opinions please??
