ive been dealing with a 2.2 swr and tryed a new antenna and still getting high swr? will a high deadkey wattage create a higher deadkey swr? I read someplace that i should try a regular radio and see if swr goes down. is this true? my dead key wattage sems to be very high..at least on the watt...

thanks for the replies and the welcome to the forums, I like the k40 only because it worked great....granted i never had any other antenna, I know the wilsons are good but do they have a quick release on them?

it had 20 amp fuses in the cord...and the pills say MRF455 9513 RR03. what quality of amp is this? good? junk?

I got this from someone and he said it was 300 watts after i purchsed it i found that both 20 amp fuses were blown.There are 2 red wires with fuses...do both go to power? im wondering if it even works? i was just wondering if someone could tell me the brand? and are the amp is fixable if broken...
