Greetings!
A friend of mine, who lives on the other side of town about a 50 mile trip, one way, from my QTH sent me 2 very short audio/video clips from a noise that he was picking up on 10m (28.368)? He gets it daily, but not early in the morning or late in the evening. As he goes from...
I suspect they are way different PCBs inside each model, perhaps one is a long board and the new one a half board, but the only feature I've read about was regarding the noise reduction circuit. Is there something else? Thanks in advance!
In the event you weren't watching pricing, the AT-6666PRO is $30 OFF ($269.99) for "AMAZON DAY", which is a decent price for that radio, and on Radioddity's website, the QT40 10 Meter Radio is $30 off ($169.99) - Great price, and the QT-60 is $52 off ($207.99), which is pretty good as well.
Here are the links, but, (spoiler), I think it's one of best CB radios to come out since the McKinley:

I believe AES closed down in 2016. But more to the point, when I first became interested in ham radio (late 70's, early 80's) their catalog was one of the best, with plenty of pages of eye candy, along the lines of the Sears Wish Book. Having been into CB radio since 1968 I'd find one or 2 pages...
COURIER GLADIATOR: One of the biggest darn mobile radios I've ever owned (solid-state :sneaky:) This one, and the other B&W shot's were for a project I was working on back in the '90's
The Regency Imperials were well-made rigs, but I never quite understood DSB until years later. The Palomar...
Sometimes I like to thumb through old electronics magazines for nostalgia, and this one had quite a bit of stuffed geared towards radio so....here's the scans (2 images and the PDF for everything else)
In an earlier review of the P-Loop 2.0 I wrote:

I thought I'd post this for anyone contemplating a purchase of the Ye-Old Turner Plus 2 Hand Mic. These were as popular as the desktop version for over 10 years, but when buying one on Ebay you should take the precaution to ask the buyer if they have opened it up to check for a cruddy battery...
So the Super Sidekick had several versions of the pcb inside, but does anyone know what the difference was between the Sidekick 100 (non-super) and the Super Sidekick? Same cartridge and internal pcb? TIA - Woody
I'm beginning to thin the herd of radios I don't use, and this is one. Price is $145 shipped with stock microphone, or, $155 shipped with an Astatic 636L (and the stock mic and pwr cord). Paypal (yes) I'll be uploading a brief video on it this afternoon. Cheers!

In about 6 weeks I will have been using this...
I wanted to share my wow moment with you - P
Periodically I look at Ebay auctions that are selling CB QSL cards in hopes of finding mine from the late 60's (no. this doesn't end with that).
Yesterday thought I'd try Google and did an image search for CB QSL cards from Connecticut and low and...
