when i tuned mine on a 2006 pete i did them individually using mini 8 then when i switched to the co-phase harness (75ohm) i had to make each antenna around 3 inches taller so they would tune. i was told that dual antennas are going to tune taller than a single, i have van ordts with a tuneable...
problem must just be with the c-15, i am running the c-13 and noise is the same with truck turned off or running. wonder what differences between the 2 motors would be causing the noise.
i was looking into running that short stinger to stay under 14' on the work truck, but you are limited on the power you can run and i would imagine you would not be as effecient
