i guess i could have asked that differently. what i meant was, i saw multiple uplink freqs and multilpe downlink freqs. which rx freqs do you listen to from which tx freqs?

i understand the doppler shift freq change, but by saying you do not need to shift tx, do you mean rxing on a seperate freq than txing.? oh ok, 2 meters tx and rx on the same freq.what about 440 MHz?

i saw the frequencys that you were on in the video and the up and down links on satscape but how do you know which goes to what?

ive been fooling around on the amsat and satscape sites trying to get comfortable with sat tracking. when im ready, what kind of output power should i start with to make contact? i dont wanna end up using over kill

no i didnt, i couldnt find it when i placed the order. ill most likely kick myself in the @$$ later. i hear its $40 for the upgrade but its my first radio so sending it in and waiting a month or so to get it back isnt my cup of tea right now.

i picked up a superstar 452 and that thing is a piece of sh!+. i cant hold it from the back with out getting horrible feedback, finding a medium between too much power gain and not enough is not happening.
