Found this, might get it as I don't like the plastic belt clip. I'm guessing you have a duty belt.

I use something like this for everyday carry on one of my batteries. Have bumped into doorframes, gone camping, love the 3M or whatever adhesive they used, because it's never budged. Price is right too.

Has anyone seen the AN/PRC-343 knockoffs? (AKA Marconi PRR H4855)
They keep appearing on eBay, and seem like decent 70cm for $120.

Anyone here had any success with Linksys/Cisco products?
I've been trying to move most of my stuff to 5V/Linux devices.
I saw the WRT54G Digipeater Mod, but I'm just kitting this from stuff I have lying around.

As for the headset, waterproof is nice, but the stereo option is so utterly ridiculous, you have to wonder who decided to include it.
I've been looking for a pair of waterproof stereo bluetooth headset to test with this unit.
After dealing with Yaesu over their encryption modules for the other VX line, (which is basically the same form factor,) obtaining the Bluetooth unit was a PITA. Other than that, I've had no problem with the module itself.
Plantronics and this unit are a real winner.
I don't see much...

Nope, the (B) and maybe (A) models run off coin cells, so I guess the (C) and maybe (D) were custom built for an application such as the FGPS-2.
More questions than answers, I guess.
I opened mine up and this is what I found.
In the upper left hand corner is a wire that wasn't in Moleculo's picture, and because of that I was scared to attempt to flip the module.
I wouldn't doubt if they used GPS-72A(A-D) depending on manufacture date.
If anyone finds that GPSVP...
And here is someone wrenching on one. I think they look identical, other than the bubble in the Position PDF.

Probable manufacturer of GPS module
I think the module is produced by Positions, Inc., a subsidiary of Chiyoda Electronic Company. Found this (probable predcesor of the unit in the Yaesu module)
