The meter on radio does not show over 1.5. I am afraid if I disable it I may burn something up. The radio cuts transmission off and reverts to receive. the display will read BATHI, which after some digging around I found it is a trouble code for swr. Thank you for responding.

I have been told that most external watt meters read peak watts, so am I too assume that if my Dosy meter is showing a reading of say 300 watts I am actually transmitting 150 watts?? This I don't understand.
