The pictures below show the 19.2 MHz crystal that was in question.
I've also included the block diagram, which confirms the NB circuit I sent earlier was from the SR-94HPC.
As mentioned before, the schematic is not our intellectual property, and we can't share what we do not own.
Glad you're having good luck with the modifications. You will have just as good of results without the mosfet receiver. Obviously the mosfet still had a noise issue because boomer had the same complaint as some of those that didn't have it.
The SR-490 and new SR-440 radios will have these...
Actually DTB only posted part of the modification. The other part consists of a capacitor/resistor modification. I'll get the picture uploaded shortly.
Below is a link that will show the location of R35. This trick will work on other radios with similar circuit boards.

I can honestly say I'm not sure what the mosfet receiver modification consists of and I've never seen or used one. If you'd like to send your radio in for warranty repair please email or call us for an RA number.
We're having some problems with our forum. Our email address and telephone number work just fine, as does our online RA request form. We have sold shops the M1104 in the past for $8, that's all they cost us.
Your radio will in fact work with the SD1446, if you remove the M1104 you will see...

Final replacement - New SR-440HP radios now use mosfet finals, replacement is easy and inexpensive. The older models can use the SD1446, which costs about $14.
Receiver - There are a few forum members that have experienced excessive...
Sleepwalker,
If you still have your SR-440HP would you be interested in having our warranty repair center take a look at it? We'd be more than willing to send a UPS call tag.
I would recommend sending your radio in and letting them look at it. The only problem with Paul's radio in regards to the receiver was L6 would not adjust correctly. Key's added a 33pf capacitor in series and was able to get L6 adjusted correctly.
Yes Key's does good work! Any one having noise problems with their receive is more than welcome to send their radio in for warranty service (Contact us for an RA first)
Paul, they usually set low power for 2-2.5 watts and high at about 15.
