11 meter is very quiet?

It was good up here, I made contacts on both ten and 11 meters this morning.
Lots of stations along the Gulf Coast, Tenn, and even PA.
Switching around between channels 35 to 40 you could hear guys on them all.

10 meters did not have the traffic that 11 did but it was good to hear activity there this morning.

Conditions got better here!! Made some contacts but about three at a time would come back. Couldn’t understand a darn thing. So I jumped back in the bushes and had fun listening.

Pretty good conditions out here! Nice clear contact with 300 Ontario Canada and 7 Kenny in Ohio. Said it was coming in nice and clear and he complimented me on my mobile. Made the day!!!

He sounded fantastic! He told he goes by 7 Ohio because it’s shorter and easier for other operators to remember. Real nice guy! He’s the one that said my mobile sounded great.

I was able to get through to Queensland Australia on 39 lower from my humble lil radio in south carolina!
Short contact but he was good and clear!

On my drive to work this morn a nice clear, loud QSO with 555 Northern Arkansas and 72 Mississippi. They were Booming here in the west!
