11 meter is very quiet?

11 meters was very quiet saturday evening all day n evening sunday. fired radios up at 3:30 am n quiet as death

Sat evening after a busy day at work, I fired up the Ranger and made 2 contacts in Wisconsin ( 007&1311) ,got Minnesota (351) and Minneapolis (237) and then it started Raining pretty heavy up here and Conditions just went away!!
This morning the band was open on 11 AM and SSB.
Channel 6 was bumping, 11, 20, 28 talked all over Texas and down south. Then SSB on 36 and 38.
There was a knucklehead on 38 for for a while, but it was easy to make a contact and move to 36 and he went away.
Nice to hear it open like that this morning.

Yeah it was getting good until the window licker guy started bumping his gums.. Still bumping them on 19 Am...

Same up here in Central Pennsylvania,it was quiet on 38 LSB most of the day and tonight, nothing really to hear............Not much of anything in the receiver tonight
Weather is too bad for contacts around here. The lightening is popping every 2 minuets and that's all I can hear in my RX.... 9 to +20 dBs. Pretty annoying.
Shoot I unplug everything when the storms come in. Lightning doesn't play well with others.
You still afloat down there or do I need to bring you some floaties?
We're good for now but don't throw those floaties away just yet...

Every Friday night at 8 Pacific time there is a net on 27.365, channel 36 LSB called the Ditch bank SSB net.
Net control is Ron and they welcome DX contacts.
You can also listen in on YouTube
This group is out of the Central Valley east of Fresno.
Then on Saturday night starting at 8 Pacific time is the Old Tube Radio Network.
27.085, channel 11 on AM.
Dennis is the net control.
You can also listen in on YouTube
They start with SWL numbers roll call, the after the check in you can hear guys checking in on old tube CB radios.
Dx and locals always welcome.
