I have a 4 and a half ft skipshooter and it does a great job on top of my old extended cab pickup. Dead center. Good luck with it!

Made a contact with England this afternoon from my mobile in New Jersey ten miles west of NYC.
Not much time to spend on the station this evening because the day was so nice I couldn't pass up the event to cook steaks with the family. But in the few minute I was near the radio, called out and made a few short contacts. Propagation has been awesome here, getting spoiled by it.
Talked to 99 Jamaica, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, all you guys are very strong here today.

Good opening this morning. Worked several stations from northern Europe on my barefoot Galaxy DX 2574. Mother nature was surely smiling at me.
Not so great of a day but it's still coming and going. Still not too bad and making contacts on the higher side of the band. You channel 16 fellas, there's nothing down there when I make the journey down there.
OMG!!!! Made contact with 1976 Sydney Australia and 173 New Zealand. My first down under contacts!!! Said I was 5-7 on their radios. Woot!!!!!
