11 meter is very quiet?

Off today doing the getting Christmas ready for the little guys. I turned on the Texas Ranger talkbox and heard skip from England and Canada in SW Penna. Hearing 226 Southern UK, 070 Northern England. 101 Jamaica came in. I can read the mail coming in right now.

Just talked to 696 Spokane Washington on my new President George with the Aires power mic barefoot! Loving this new DX machine!
I need to put the Aries Power Mic on my TR 696 FD1, I like those on my cobra 29s and Uniden 76. I never tried it on SSB, I know that sound kinda funny. DTB modified the mic circuit to function well with a stock mic. I run the mic gain at 3 o'clock on SSB. Just got the word today from the CB surgeon that my Super Sidekick has be resuscitated. I am anxious to try it. I heard the gentleman calling from the Shamrock, Northern Ireland this morning too.

Been stormy in SoCal…going to rain for about 3-4 days. Antenna off and weather cap is on. Maybe later during the upcoming week I can get back on the radio.
Been listening tonight to some DX on .385 and the conditions are pretty nice at the moment up here in central Pennsylvania,made contact with World Radio 500 out of Nova Scotia a few mins ago and wished him a Merry Christmas, people are coming in and out from everywhere it seems...........

That’s awesome man, I don’t know why more people don’t get at least, there tech license. 10 meters is a lot of fun when it’s open and working dx is easy when it is.
Yesterday France Italy and Germany not as strong as the day before but still very workabke.
