Coax Cable

I can see it, if you need very low loss at the shorter bands(440 mhz and up) on long cable runs. 0.439 db loss per 100` at 450 mhz is nice if you are trying to squeak every little bit of signal out of the air you can.

Jeff..

even for 2 meters is good..
but i use for 2 and 1.25 meters as well as 70cm band and soon for 1200-1300 mhz (the 1 and 5/8)
and i use the 7/8 for hf and 6 meters..

i get no bleeding of rf and hardly any loss in signal and hear as best i can..

the coax is the last link in the chain..
but is usally over looked and can easily make a huge difference.
this i already know..

it is however very hard to work with and is very expensive
