Honestly, I appreciate those that keep back. Even when Social Distancing was not the "New Norm" I got agitated with people crowding me. Once had a lady just start loading her groceries on conveyor before I finished getting mine on, that lead to me pulling her cart away from her, to the conveyor, and unceremoniously depositing her stuff back into the cart. She snatched the cart trying to stop me, so I just piled her crap on the floor. She cussed me out in another language, you can just imagine which, and proceeded to call the manager. She no speaky English, so I guess that gave her the right to be rude. Manager apologized to me, and she went bye-bye. Cops met me outside, she then spoke fluent English, manager had to be called out to explain. She wielded a Mex drivers license. To her she was being racially targeted, but when the Hispanic Manager came out and explained to the police, well that went away. Manager was amazed, and noted to police, that she claimed to speak no English before, and how she learned so fast. Tell me about racial bias, and I will set you straight.

We have 89 in Victoria. With "NO NEW CASES" the media spouts like it's "The Chinese New Year". (Note the puno_O). Here we have 19, for such a small town I consider that a lot. Some here are doing the "Social Distancing Dance" but most walk around almost, well like Leo said...."Bomb Proof" ....and "Zombie Like". I think it's just ingrained in them in the form of stupid. I went to town also yesterday, was fine until at the store having to watch my six. They just walk up deliriously, bump into you, hit you with the cart. The final straw for me, and the poem above, was the six foot tall, fat, tub of gelatinous schmegma that not only encroached on the six foot, but my personal space as well, right up on me like he was going to pay for the carton of watermelon slices right along side of me. I went the F off, drill sergeant attitude. "If you don't mind, get the F back.....If you do mind, get the F back before you get hurt!".....He moved immediately. Yes, sir!

See this is what pisses me off. I see an uprising of folks especially in the USA now demanding their RIGHTS to freedom of assembly be enforced and are gathering in groups for no other reason than to defy the social distance rule as if it was all a big hoax and that they will never be able to gather in groups EVER AGAIN. Most also think they are invincible. There have been lots of complaining up here too as we go into our fourth or fifth week of it. YES it is an inconvenience and YES it pisses me off to have to do but I have common sense so I abide by it and I am quite ready to inform any encroachments into MY space of what I think of them getting too close. The last several months my filter has developed rather large holes in it and sometimes words slip out when they probably shouldn't.

The pushback you are seeing/ reading about is a little skewed. The actual reasoning behind the rallies are not to thumb the social distance idea, unfortunately it has been portrayed that way, the realization has become quite evident these Democratic Governors are flexing their powers, pushing socialism. Control of the people, stepping on our rights. Read about the crazy things Michigan gov has decried as off limits. The left has fallen for another trap. Trump sure pulled the rug out from under them recently by using reverse psychology, stating he had the sole authority and not the states to open up the country. They took it hook line and sinker. Media and dems actually went bonkers over States Rights, 10th Amendment of our Constitution, supporting the US Constitution. Now.......Those Democratic Gov's are digging their own grave, tightening down on Constitutional Rights. But, the folly is incredible, HUGE, one could say.....Now the states are taking action rather than expect the Fed to tell them what to do. Be it right or wrong they are realizing the money has run out, and it now up to them to govern. Not sit there with their hands out sucking up federal taxpayer monies and cooking the books of a death toll in order to get more money. America sees this for what it is.....the left cannot let a crisis go to waste, wants to capitalize on it for political, economic, and social gains. More political than any. Sometimes I have to turn down the RF power, but the Gain stays WTFO. Keep your ear to the ground.

You say what I am seeing is a little skewed yet I can say the same thing about a lot of what you see and say. One cannot dismiss the far left and quote the far right in their defence. One is as bad as the other and one lies as bad as the other. You say Trump used reverse psychology yet he has proved time and time again he has the idea that he is king and does not have to listen to others. His own party members have had to reign him on on several occasions. This is one of the reasons he has reversed decisions so often. I see he has now reversed from saying he and he alone has TOTAL say on when things reopen and now he says individual states can do it which was the case all along. He was WRONG. He is used to being KING in business and cannot think of being any different now. FWIW FOX is as bad as CNN in the BS dept. They are polar opposites or should that be polarizing opposites.

The man is a pure and simple genius, knows how the media will react, knows how dems will react.......He used to be one. He uses unorthodox tactics, ones actually documented in Sun Tzu's "The Art of War". Which, by the way is reviewed and studied in many business institutes, along side the Tactics of Attila the Hun. These are playbook maneuvers, nothing new here folks.

This issue of being skewed is not over public safety, as though the socialists want you to believe and how this tactic comes right out of Piven Tactics, it is the fact the American public is aware of their rights being taken and are now very concerned for this to continue. Covid 19 has not taken as many lives as the flu, only the media hype has inflated it and the dems have exaggerated the numbers for said purpose above.

A woman on the news interviewed by NBC said it the best way possible........

"I WOULD RATHER DIE FROM COVID 19, THAN TO LIVE LIKE THIS!"......That sure parallels the phrase....."Give me liberty or give me death!"

"This" meaning socialistic state.......look at the long lines for food, media is sure to promote the disparity of that now. The bailout for small business has evaporated in two weeks, while the miserable Pelosi gives grand tours of ice cream, while not in DC working on recovery because they, dems, will not agree to any other stimulus unless they can inject pork bills unrelated to Covid. So they just leave town.

What the President should do, and has full authority to do, is adjourn Congress and decide without the lifelong politicians. That is written into the US Constitution, though not a favorable alternative or one that has ever been utilized. He absolutely knows what he can and can not do under Constitutional Law, unlike the left who are running this country into the ground.

I agree the social distancing should be continued, but you can not continue to hold The United States of America hostage over it like the Socialists wish to do. Today Gov. Abbott has laid out preliminary plans to open up, fortunately. I do not like the draconian checks of citizens at the state line, that is just equivalent to Nazi Germany and "Having your papers in order".

As stated, I like a little distance, but refuse to give up rights for myself and everyone else. The reality is Covid 19 is here, it will be around again. Should we all burry our heads in the sand and hope it goes away? While our God Given and Constitutional rights are taken?

As I have said many times before and will continue to do so.......it is NOT about the death rate or toll. It is about keeping the infection rate down to a level that health care facilities can cope with. As much as I am tired of the phrase "flattening the curve" that's what it is all about.

I agree with that....especially that darned phrase, tired of it. Along with the globalized one.....We are all in this together.......Sheesh. Makes one wonder why apartments are called that, when they are all stuck together.

We are living in the future
I'll tell you how I know
I read it in the paper
Fifteen years ago
We're all driving rocket ships
And talking with our minds
And wearing turquoise jewelry
And standing in soup lines
We are standing in soup lines

Jake the barber's lonely daughter
Went down to her daddy's shop
She plugged herself to a barber pole
And took a little off the top
Pressure on the left. Pressure on the right
Pressure in the middle of the hole
I'm goin' to Maine on a forty foot crane
I'm gonna use it for a fishin' pole

Old Sarah Brown sells tickets down
At the all night picture show
Where they grind out sex
And they rate it with an "X"
Just to make a young man's pants grow
No tops no bottoms just hands and feet
Screaming the posters out on the street
Strangling the curious and the weak
We give 'em what they want to see - O
