Antenna Specialists Super Scanner.
Many years ago, the Super Scanner Antenna M-119 by Antenna Specialists was a very popular antenna for 11 meter use. It was designed as a "compromise" antenna with the properties that made it into an antenna that was somewhere between a beam and a ground plane type antenna. The "beam" property of the Super Scanner was the result of electronically rotating the pattern rather than using a rotor.

If you do get this antenna, make sure you get the control box with it. Won't work without it.
(I had one in the late 70's.It was awesome at the time!)

It's a good antenna if it is working. The way it works Is one element is the radiator and the other two are reflectors change the switches and the radiator moves 120 degrees. change switches and another 120 deg.
(It does not actually move)
Very unique in theory but difficult to mass produce. Bad relays and corrosion were the main problems. The switch control can be built if you have a schematic. If I had the chance I would get it.

Shade , I can't promise anything but my Father in Law had one of these in the 80's . He passed recently & we are in the process of cleaning out his house . Let's put it this way , he didn't throw anything out ! I'm not sure if it's there but if it is I will PM you ! The antenna is gone but the control box might still be lurking someplace in that God forsaken mess !

Shade , Yup that's the one I remember ! Sure is big enough ! Maybe I'll trip over it ! I also remember using it & it didn't impress me , but I also know now the relays on the antenna might have been Junk !

I had one in the 60's, great antenna. I seen that $775.00 price on eBay WOW I thank I paid $125.00 for mine . Inflation
