If you had a choice of the two which one would you choose? It will be mounted on top of a 2010 Jeep Renegade roof, on a puck mount. Both are the same length.
My reason for asking I have always read that longer is better and I have also read that metal is also better. Which I am getting confused on as from what I have read on the coil antennas like the predator it transmits and receives from the top of the coil not the top of the whip, but the skip shooter as being longer has a thinner winding wire AKA metal than the skip shooter.

Predator. In this case, assuming the same mounting point, length is the key point.

When it comes to top loading, which in the world of CB is more often than not way over hyped (what isn't), you have to have a really short antenna before you will ever notice said benefits over base loaded or center loaded counterparts.

If you are going to drill holes anyway why not go for a 108" whip mounted on the side, while this is not an optimum mounting spot its hard to beat a 108" whip.
I have a 108 inch whip I have a 102 inch whip also have the riser for it for tuning it. My question is about these two antennas that I also have. I am a asking about these cuz in total length they both are about the same.

Get both. A SKIPSHOOTER is all of $30 or so, and American-made.

It’s not really Either/Or

Kales Cowtown Antennas are as good as it gets. But they also have a tendency to walk away.
I have both
I'd take the fiberglass whip with the copper wire assuming it's as long or longer than the other one.
With the whip the predator is 6.5ft. Skipshooter is 5. I do also have a 6ft, and a 7ft Skipshooter, but I start waking stuff with those. Skipshooter uses 17 gauge wire.

Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.

@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
