Dude if your happy with your radio, getting good reports, not bleeding into your neighbor's tv. keep the hammer down and keep talking. I don't see the need to tear your radio apart for these Hawks on here so they can prove to the world that Copper sucks. Like I said before I have bought tons of stuff from them, and I will continue buying from them. I have never experienced none of the bad stuff posted in this thread from Copper :shock:

I think you're missing the point !

It's not Copper Electronics that sucks, it's their radio techs. and their forum that sucks.

You would be better off with a $79-99 Cobra 25 or 29 and a $180-$200 Davemade Funker (2) 2879 amplifier.

This set up would smoke that overpriced export junk any day of the week AND COST LESS !!!!

I still have never heard a high output export (Not Dual 1969 or mosfet) that sounded impressive...........OK maybe but not impressive.

I don't know about all this negative jazz here, but I do get great on the air reports, using a d-104 m6 power mic.

The locals seem to dig the audio on the 4300-300 as compared to the audio on the Kenwood TS-2000.

So, who am I to argue with them?

I think DTB only wanted to do a "review " of the tune-up which I don't think will hurt anything . Hey , he might come back on here & tell us about the exemplerary JOB that was performed .
