Has anyone done the HiFi/wideband audio caps on a new RCI 29 base yet? If so, where can I get the directions / board locations please Thanks - Bob

Why would anyone use hifi caps in a CB radio, with a maximum of 2.4khz audio bandwidth? As long as the caps are reliable and can handle the voltage it will be perfectly fine. Good caps in the power supply of course.

What he's talking about is changing the values of certain capacitors in the audio chain to widen the response.
