I’m new here and have a Teaberry Stalker Two 40 channel that I know needs a recap and most likely an alignment. I can’t find any info (service manuals schematics, etc.) on it. Can anyone here point me in the direction of where I can find the info?

Best I can tell that one is an orphan. Nobody claims it. Not listed anywhere I looked.

If the owner's manual came with a schematic, that could be the only published source that ever existed.

No guarantee that the owner's book had one, though.

The circuit-board number could provide a clue if another brand or model was built that used it. Uniden sold to a lot of brands besides Teaberry, so that is probably the only back door to try.

Odds are this radio was built for Teaberry in Taiwan by Uniden. A Uniden circuit-board number usually begins with the letters "PC". And if you see "94VO", that's a flame proofing spec found on a lot of pc boards, not a type number for that particular pc board.

Thanks for backing up my thoughts on it being an 858 chassis. Now to get the Sams and get to work with the recap job. From what I can tell looking for any obvious signs of the golden screwdriver it looks virgin to me. I got it as a gift and can’t wait until it’s up and running

one piece of advice when re-capping an 858 SSB radio:

there are about a million wires soldered to the bottom of the PC board and they will frustrate you during the re-cap because of the terrible smell of melted insulation courtesy of your soldering iron.

take the time before you start to take pics, make diagrams, and label these wires.

then you can remove them from the PC board and tie them back before you start.

this will make your re-cap go a lot faster. just be absolutely sure that you know where all the wires go!

    good luck.

I just looked at the board layout and from what I can tell it doesn’t seem to match up.

Welcome to WWDX! I have learned a lot in my short time here. That rig should serve you well once the freshen up is complete.
