When I look on the outside of the wall , it's going up the wall into the eaves and attic.
The end of it is somewhere. Probably either where your router (command center) is located, or where the cable company is coming into the house, the outside connection box.
The end is in attic i Believe, as there is a bunch of coax cables lying up there I've seen. How do i check as my arms are not long enough lol
Also the socket where the coax is on the wall is much smaller looking than the socket so259 on back of rig.
That socket on the cable is smaller. Buy an F-connector to HF connector adaptir. I buy mine at Radio Shack (yes, some of them do still exist). Unless you have a Toner, or cable line tester, all you can do is hook something up on it and keep connecting/disconnecting in the attic until you find the right one.
Problem is once someone has seen it they know you got it, taking it down when not in use isn't going to make them forget that you're the radio guy in the neighborhood.
Had the same thing happen to me when I lived in a hoa. So I just used my a99 stuck it in the stake hole of my pick up..Then I was mobile they could not say anything to me about it....Ran the coax in side the house!!
True, plus in all my excitement I forgot that it will be close to the house wall and only a few feet will be at best peaking over the roof. Wasted.

Agreed , take it down when not in use. So much better than my previous idea of putting on the side of house i think.
How about also , a mag mount ontop of chimney with a 3 x 3 metal base? That semi stealthy one might be better performance wise?
Get a CobWebb and hang a couple pair of boxer shorts from it for camo purposes.
