What have you done today to be prepared? We have been canning. So far we have put up tomato juice, pasta sauce, smoked pasta sauce, sweet salsa, spicy salsa, pickled jalapenos, pickled okra, pickled green beans, and pickled cauliflower. Still got plenty of more things to can and put up to be prepared!

Just picked up some 9mm and 45 ammo. Also got a few freeze dried food items. never hurts to have a little on hand. The wife and I like the Mountain House and the Wise products the best I think. They're great for just a quick meal too.

Bought a single burner butane stove and a number of spare fuel tanks. Got tried of pumping up the old Coleman. Don't do much canning any more since don't have a garden, to many people have tamed to wildlife around here to the point they think your garden is just for them. If you're pickling beans I've got to wonder if you put away any pickled corn?
