I appreciate y'all trying. I just can't break thru west of me. I thought I may have gotten Manitoba but can't be sure. That guy tends to key over the people in contact with him. Doesn't wait for them to finish. Same guy? I can hear him well usually. I hear the station from Kansas City MO every day. Can't get him at all and he keys over everyone else here when I've heard him. Solid 5-7.
 
Yes probably the same guy , I tried again on 38&37 @ 3:15 an Grinder I spend a lot of time @ . 545 try me there .

Don't worry about the West just work what you hear. Got Ireland this morning LSB 27.415 Pres Jackson and 102 whip. First trip across the pond and did it barefoot. I think my problem with 36-40 is I get carrier on them and it's hard to pull people out so I go to the freeband channels

I am curious. I didn't think there was supposed to be a carrier on ssb. Correct?
 
yeah, sometimes the mexican stations are a real problem here and they bleed through on the upper lsb channels. it's so annoying. There have been days when the only skip i got was coming through mexico on AM.
 
Grinder called you on 545 USB an Europe kept calling me son I went to LSB an two guys having a long QSO out of Oklahoma City , maybe some day will make contact an that will be the day I buy a power ball ticket ! lol

Just saw this , I stayed in the shack til @ 0100 hrs. For some reason this thing is popping up the icon for the forum ? It was fine yesterday . Just like my D104 Silver eagle one day its fine next day its scratchy an yes guys the battery is new , this mic has given me crap since day one . If my Cobra 2000 gets here ( est del 3/13 ) my problem should be solved I got it with a SSK .
