Here's my 2000 Mustang with my Sirio magmount working skip

I won this car for $350 at an auction and am turning it into a Ford version of Smokey and the Bandit!

Is all the magnet contacting the roof, looks like a pretty rounded roof line. Pretty car!

Guess it's worth $350...You probably got more invested in the radio equipment than you do in the car!

The funny thing is we didn't expect to win at such a lowball. My best friend and I (40 years!) have always wanted a racing team. So we bid on this car and a week later it was in his driveway. We're going to strip it down to be a track car!

Not sure the radio is going to make the final version, but we do have a supercharger for it, some good suspension parts and coil overs! Our only rule was do it old school.. like when we were teens.. second hand parts, nothing new!

I'll post back as it continues to evolve!

TheRATT , what a score for $350 ! As a life time Drag Racer these things are fast and hook hard if set up right ! But used parts ? Some are OK I'd rethink used coil overs (jmo) . Check out the site " Racing Junk " good stuff there . You need any input feel free to PM me . I worked for Gene Snow " The Snowman " AA/FC back in the the 70's . I finally got out of track drag racing about 10 years ago . Good Luck on your venture ! 73 and God Bless , Leo :)

The coil overs are new. Can't be stupid about things!

But the superchargers were used (we have a roots type and a pro charger, not sure which to try first)!

TheRatt , myself I like The " Roots" type charger , Iv'e had some experience with them , just because I'm old plus and I like the look ! I actually have been looking @ a few for a 508 bbc . Motor.... "Yes" , Car .... still looking I had a 69' Chevelle I was checking out but to lazy to drive and trailer it back . I talked with an old friend just yesterday and he just picked up a 41' Willy's out of Cali , so who knows depending on what happens we might try it out in that as a Nostalgia Drag Car . Hey, why not ? It already has wheelie bars on it !:ROFLMAO:
