friend has a kenwood mc-48 mic and wants to use it on his kenwood ts930s if he can, anybody tell me if this would be a problem it is wired 8 pin just like the radio. thanks for any help

hope for the finicially challenged Thats great cause im broke to. :lol: I have a friend who is a glass installer and big into radios and is always giving me radios that some body does not want,we are always giving each other stuff that we dont need or use anymore. free is always good.

On the back of my radio and ant. tuner there are grounding lugs.Is this just for radio protection or does it also enhance the radios performance. Thanks

kenwood 930s mods TonyV225, I was given 2 of these radios one dead the other was taken out of the box just for testing,was olso given a kenwood AT-230 ant. tuner.

GROUNDING TOWER FL Native, I see what your saying and will do that. tower goes up saturday,was going to use #9 ground wire and ground clamps if that will work thanks.

Ok here is the set up . 60ft.crank up tower with 3 8ft. ground rods conected to each leg of tower. 1 ground rod outside of window for radio #9 ground wire 8ft long.Will this be ok or do I need to add something .thanks
