    Where to find this cable

I think your right... it should be pin to pin... But, this confuses me: " Wire the cable according to the standard crossband repeater pinout: Pin 1 (Data In) to Pin 7 (AF Out), Pin 2 (PTT/COS) to Pin 8 (PTT/COS), and Pin 3 (Mic Ground) to Pin 5 (Mic Ground). Do not connect Pin 1 and Pin 7...

    Where to find this cable

I'm wanting a RJ45 to RJ45 repeater controller cable for the QYT KT-8900D pre-made. I don't want to make one. I want to buy one. I make antennas, not rj45 cables. Surecom offers an RJ45 to 3.5mm speaker mic cable, but I want to pair two mobiles, not a mobile to HT for crossband use.

Yep. Ever so slightly. It took hours for it to slide that much.

    Winter Wonder

This is my first time to have seen this in nearly 70 years. The snow accumulation on top of our glass deck table slightly melted in yesterday's warm up due to the sun warming the surface of the table, and when the melt refroze last night a layer of ice between the glass table and the snow began...

    IC-2720 Crossband Issue

I traded for an IC-2720 transceiver and put it to work for crossband purposes. It was easily done, and worked very well... for a while. I do not know what changed, but no amount of resets, setup, and trial gets me what it had been doing. It receives signals from my HT andcretransmits them to...

    WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

I posted to this thread about channel/frequency screw ups, but I was wrong. I had left the 10kz switch on. Turned it off and everything went back to normal.

    WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

Shadetree Mechanic, Okay, I tried the up/down buttons pressed together and it does show the frequency on the channel display. Channel 38 displayed 27. 38. 50. Two numbers each one after the other then went back to the Channel number display, 38. Cool.

    WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

Howdy, Brett. I just figured it was prolonging the key up. Don't care for them anyway.

    WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

If you look at the front of this Galaxy DX88 you'll see the band dial with double band letters in 4 positions. One set of 4 band letters are "high" bands, and the other 4 are "low" band letters. Just above the band selector dial you see a button that reads off & low. When pressed to low, you get...

So very sorry to hear this news. It's been a while, but was always a delight to QSO with him on the forum, and over the air. Especially, when it was homebrew antennas both ways.

    WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

I also figured out the delay in receive after unveiling was caused by the SWR function being on. I turned it off and the delay went away. I also turned off the roger beep. I did not hear it (I don't run talkback), but could see the movement of the rf meter. So far, getting good reports, and...
