Sorry I dont have an extra knob for you, and I cant make out the crack in the fuzzy picture, but is it possible to pull the crack a little wider and sneak some epoxy in there? If so, then wrap something around the knob (tape?) to hold it tight until it dries.
Its a different animal, but I've...
FWIW, I recently purchased one on Amazon; they call it the Sirio Fighter; same thing as far as I can tell just a different color, Camo; doesn't come with the magnetic base but I put it on one from my old Wilson 1000 and it works fine. It is now selling for a few bucks more than I paid, but...
By Sweet Spot I mean, when you're mobile, do you find one place that just gives you a better chance of making DX contacts than others?
I seem to have the best luck on a bridge over the CT river; no surprise I know; I regularly see guys hanging out at night in the break down lane on some local...
Thank you for the response Camaro1.

Thx
K
I would 2nd the 122; nice radio in a small package, and if you want to spend some money on something more modern look perhaps into the Magnum 257. Check out cbradiomagazine.com for good reviews on both.
For the Uniden PC 122xl, don't be afraid to check out craigslist; you can find some great...
Greetings
With the recent interest of a member here in buying one of these radios I took some photos for him, along with some other comparison shots for anyone who hasn't seen how freakishly big they are.
Most of us I am sure have seen vintage "mobile" radio's from the 50's & 60's that...
