so been thinking of trying this antenna .. currently using a sirio 5000 .. seems ok . recieve is a lil noisy it picks up every static .. the stryker has alot of good reviews .and ya it does light up but theres a video on youtube how to take that out

ive had 3/8x24 and so239 type anttenas ..but never had the nmo type mount ..until recently ive only seen the nmo type on ham antennas. and the antenna im looking at is called a browning BR-140-B base loaded antenna. i seen it online at bobscb.com. any info will be appreciated

has anyone tried the stryker antenna lineup. ya they do look-like a re labeled wilsons . but i bet there quaility is better.

picked this up over the weekend, rx is ok but tx is way over modualted on ssb. i gotta use a stock mic or noise canselling mic only. then back mic gain all way down till around 11 oclock.im thinking modulation limiters or did i overlook something?

i just got this today in a package deal. dont know much about it . seems everything works. just 2 things whats the swing button for. and on ssb if i pause the relays sometimes dont wanna rekey and modulate

my system hasnt been up to par as of late so i took my mfj 259 out to checkout my antenna see whats going on heres whayt ive found 271850 R=90 X=0 swr= 1.6 now imho R is way outta tune now i did move the magnet all over the roof and seen no noticable change and sliding the whip up and down...

seen this antenna online.uses 8 guage wire where wilson uses 10 guage. dont know if this makes much difference.just curious if anyone tried one,and there thoughts on it

just got mine today from copper. cleanest cb mic i think . tested against many other noise canselling mic and the 198 always sounded the cleanest. i bought a 636le a few years back very disappointed. and local here has a newer rk56 and there not what they used to be either [ not by my ears]

hello everyone, so i gotta situation last 2 radios i had in my mobile lost there volume outta speaker .i even tried a external one with no luck. i popped open the covers just to make sure speaker is connected it is. my mfj259 shws swr at 1.1.1 R=52 X=0. i dont know what happened but i now have 2...

got a local that picked up alot of equiment in a estate . he got this amp dont know much about it. ive seen pic of this amp with a matching power supply . is this needed for this amp . he has a 110 cord and had it on with tubes glowing. he was told he needs it but i cant see why???
