    Stations over-deviating in FM mode

I run my 1X4 at 125 watts on FM. The same 125 as my AM deadkey. Adjusting for a higher transmit on FM can/will stress and pop transistors as you are essentially raising your AM DK. I don't even touch my box swapping to FM because there's nothing to change. Your AM deadkey IS your FM transmit...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Made a few good contacts from Ontario. Larry 1412 and I had a nice, lengthy conversation on my drive home from work. 376 from Ontario as well as a couple of others and one from Boston.

I could hear everyone from my MN to Sweden and couldn't make contact with a single soul. Quite depressing.

    11 meter is very quiet?

I made a few contacts on 38LSB around 1ish this afternoon, mostly Boston and the likes. Dildo in the desert was jamming 19 for 3 hours straight. I'm curious....if his setup is so perfect, why could I hear him equally clear on 19 upper and lower SSB?

    Galaxy-X4 popped a pill

The numbers are pretty good for 4x1446s. You could get a little more if you beat the guts out of her and stressed everything, shortening the life by half....I wouldn't push her much more than what you have if it were mine.

    Galaxy-X4 popped a pill

Talk to Gate Keeper. I bought 4 1446s (Hgs) for 21 each.

    Galaxy-X4 popped a pill

Ideally you'd replace all 4, at the very least I would put a matching pair in that section. A weak transistor will strain the new one pulling it down, so the weaker of the two sections of the 4 pill will pull down the stronger section reducing output and stressing the stronger section. If the...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Fellas, I'm, not sure I'll ever be back on our regular 11m after being told about 27.555 USB. The contacts are amazing and I've yet to hear a 11111 or music playing on it. I'm pretty sure I hit "radio Toyko" I called CQ with my numbers and he responded, I heard the 144 but not Alabama so I'm not...

What are some active freqs for Europe? I've never ventured from band 4 on my 955 other than playing with the VFO once and making a contact.

    11 meter is very quiet?

Had an old guy tell me 30 years ago, when people start acting like that, you have to put yourself in a position where it can't bother you....it's called the off position.

    11 meter is very quiet?

I was listening to this one guy, dude, when I say he'd lost it, he shipped it over seas to an uncharted island. He was cussing, threatening people.....it was equivalent to what I can only imagine a Mark Sherman total meltdown would be, dude had my stress level maxed and he wasn't even talking to...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Sure is a lot of hostility on 36 LSB right now....38 isn't much better though.

    DAVE MADE M400

I agree with the others. A lot of places have a "buy" meter and a "sell" meter. The "Buy" meter is a Bird and the "sell" is a Dosey. They use the Bird to buy your amp because it will 90% of the time show less watts. They'll use the Dosey to sell you an amp for opposite reason. Now, I've seen...
