Well, I just talked to my Son on ch 19, and he was 2 ridges over from me. Lol

Well give me some, y'all. I'm not hearing anything at the moment. I switched back to the vertical so I can hear all directions in case something does come in.
That beam has allowed me to get out of the "fish bowl" On Friday I talked to a mobile in Atlanta, Ga. and a base in Waynesboro, Ga. I could never talk east over them mountains off my vertical ground plane, EVER.
Have you heard Double Trouble from Mobile on channel 6? That guy is giving me a S-9 here. He is LOUD!I can swing the 5 element up north and hear some faint chatter but no conditions from up there moving into the south today
Maybe as the day progresses it might open up.
I got a 7 on Double Trouble here in Delaware. He is talking to NY and NJ.

Just got done playing in the Bowl ! Ol' 357 Magnum Ri & we are " Back Quiet " Come get Ya' some Mud Duck Mini State Station !
I'm not a a regular AM Guy but I do play on The Bowl ! Sometimes (most of the time) I get lucky ! That's why I'm Magnum !

I don't hang on the super bowl, sorry. I just talk on 38 LSB. But I have never heard of him. I know and talk to quite a few guys down in Mobile when short skip is rolling. That's usually when I can talk to my buddy Randy 429 in Del Ray Beach. I can talk ground wave, not skip, down as far as Montgomery anytime of the day and don't need conditions but anything south of that I will need conditions.

No I do not Gary 327. Where is he located at? I've been in operation for only a few months and I do not get on the radio too often. I've heard a couple of local guys talking and I do not have anything in common with them to get involved with their particular type of conversations.
