11 meter is very quiet?

Hearing Tacoma Washington at S4, Ontario Canada, the Buckeye State (Ohio), and Massachusetts come through Wednesday at the lunch hour here in the desert southwest. This is on 37LSB, as 38LSB is sounding like the Super Bowl for some reason.

Fired up the President Madison, running a DX500v on the big switch if needed. Lots of Europe on 39lsb at the moment. The receive on this radio is so nice, no dsp or noise reduction needed at all. Thanks @loosecannon for setting this thing up so well!

Well finally my New McKinley made it's way to getting hooked up in my car yesterday and must say what a difference in quality from the first bummer I had the misfortune of owning. I can actually have the clarifier locked on dead center and understand people on both AM & SSB. But anyway before I backed my car in the garage ahead of the coming rain storm I couldn't resist turning it on and playing with it. And behold when I hit 19 AM who was there but old Mark Sherman but he didn't seem to have the punch he use to. LOL Of coarse I didn't linger to listen to his BS but smiled because he seemed like a wounded Duck. LOL
Plenty of signals from USA in Poland this evening. 5/8 vertical.
There are reasonably good skip conditions this morning on LSB 37 and 36 without the noise toys and other garbage that's finding its way to LSB 38. Multiple contacts made in just a few minutes running 100% barefoot.

Talked to 121 Jamaica this morning, then a lot of EU came in. 121 AMsterdam, 450 Ireland and a few others. Now it's shifted over to the west with CA coming in, along with a few southern stations. Getting a lot of atmospheric hiss.
Got my first Colorado contact yesterday on my little Uniden PC-122
It was pretty good earlier on 36-39 LSB. Lots of mid west and texas. Even made a central Maine contact!
This morning Europe and Scandinavia were really rolling. Conditions were really good big signals not a lot of QSB on the band made for some great conditions.
Yesterday afternoon my wife and I were driving home from a late lunch and I fired up the radio. It was only a 10 minute drive but we had a great contact on 36 or 38 LSB from NW Oregon (Sherwood) to Missouri. The band was rolling in and out and we just hit it right. Pres McKinley with a KL203P and a 4' Skipshooter.
