I did not do anything with the clarifier, because the VFO will do the same thing.

11 meter is very quiet?

Dang ! How many 11111111111 stations are there now ? I know of at least 3 in different states doing it daily and 1 had it locked in on 38lsb almost all day yesterday.
There was a 111111 on 385 yesterday as usual. Like everything else, there seem to be other copy cat misfits following the original. I'm sure they all read our posts, hear us talking about them on the air and their demented minds get off on it. I know they're a nuisance but our acknowledgement of them fuels their fetish.
Looks like the epidemic of this solar cycle will be the 111111 virus.

Work week is over and I decided to sneak home early today. The Radio was booming when I got here and it's still hot. Made contact with some great people. I'm getting the usual east coast, north east, and across to the north west. Also had a short qso with 200 down under.
5:30 PM CST and I hear Australia back in there.

It's like an early morning of good fishing, the quad 6 is reeling in the qso's today. The east, northeast, west and northwest have a pipeline to the panhandle.

I was on early this morning, heard England, Ireland and France. But it was really rough in there with the big stations in the west and I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I will try some more this afternoon when I am out in the garage helping my son work on his truck.

Skip has been fairly steady today, made a decent amount of contacts in the North East and Canada. It's rolling pretty good at the moment, I get a bigger thrill using this homemade co-phased antenna than I ever did with a store bought A99. A 250 bulletproof Amp at medium power and this antenna seems to be a good combination, of course conditions help alot also. It's been a blast the last couple of days 
Idaho, California, and Oregon on 12 watts from Missouri!
Conditions have been in and out, but I've made contacts from the East coast to the West coast and Canada. Hopefully my conditions improve. I've also noticed the instigators have spread to other frequencies with the music and other stupid stuff. Still it's been a fun morning.
