I have a website that I have maintained for several years that has quite a bit of information regarding CB radios. It is loosely based on three books by Lou Franklin:

• Screwdriver Experts Guide to Peaking Out and Repairing CB Radios, 1981
• Understanding & Repairing CB Radios: For the Professional Technician, 1988 and
• The CB PLL Data Book, 1995

Please feel free to use the site as a quick-reference to peak-tweak and other information for CB radios. It ain't pretty, but it is fast and free. The format hasn't changed much since 2003, due to a lack of time and interest. Please leave feedback in this thread for incorrect information, or whatever you think.

It's a joke about simply removing the mod limiter! Accu-SPLAT!

I like to put another limiter in parallel with the stock unit and then clip them both. You get twice as much swing.

I keep having to move the thing around, remove files and cater to the needs of the host, rather than the host cater to me.

I apologize in advance if certain links don't work on the site. I basically had to rape the thing of any .pdf's and service manuals.
