Had mine on from the time I got out of bed until I went to bed heard nothing all weekend long....But havent heard any DX since August 8th
Thursday I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for the wife and talked to 2 stations in GA. on 38lsb. First contact with the new rig.
I did hear a little in there on 16 LSB right after 6 pm CST this evening. Was not able to make out enough to make a contact. I did work several AM channels and 38 LSB was going good.
Gonna be on 16LSB all week so I hope to hear someone if not a few. Got someone yesterday so it seems to be opening up a little.
DX has been quiet here but open this Am @ 9 am , chatted w/ 056 in Ontario a while on 38 lsb , I mean Good conditions my signal to him ( From Ri , 6 miles from CT line ) was 20Db's + running just under 400 w .
I've been in Miami all week, where I do have access to a base. A little of skip was rolling in yesterday afternoon, but I could only hear two or three stations. They were barely coming in over the noise floor. That was it on LSB 38. There was nothing on LSB 16.
The bottom line is that the skip down here has been dead for close to two weeks.

Well homies,i was on every band in my galaxy 99v,my sears roadtalker,htx 212 radio shack and dead simply dead.
The simplest proposal that comes to mind is that we give LSB 16 a try whenever we hear the pile up on LSB 38. We'll know conditions are ripe and that is 90% of the uphill battle we are facing here.
