Back to studying for my Ham License

That’s before my time, friend. But I do know exactly what you’re talking about. Late model Mustang fuel injection tuned with a laptop isn’t a lot of fun either.
It is a hell of a lot easier than the Mechanical Fuel Injection. You had to tune each and every injector multiple times because they all affected each other. Engine heat, environmental temperature, barometric pressure all influenced tuning. But when I was done it was perfect. Good idle and instant throttle response better than any carburetor.

Tall , My old partner still has one . He brought it back attached to the motor , ( Big Olds ) out of an Altered from Cali when he got out of the service in the late 60's ( lol ) . Shutter ? How about when you had to pop the little balls out & give it a little " Squirt " to fire it up ? A back fire was never your friend !:ROFLMAO: Btw , Nice Pic !(y)

I’m not saying it’s harder but try figuring out a fuel map just off the top of your head. Or a cold start map. Learned fast that I had done messed up... gave up on that quick.
Actually the Hillbourn system was full blown race setup. It was mostly full on or Idle. They did have systems that had a mid-range setup used for road racing.

Y’all gonna keep on and I’m gonna start studying it for it. I gotta ask, what’s wrong with just staying at tech or general class? Just curious, not lighting a fire.
