I've been reading up on the extended double zepp antenna and have been wanting to try one out for the HF bands. Has anybody had any luck with these? They seem to have a advantage over the 1/2 wave dipole but mostly limited to one band. Thanks Jonbah

Has anyone tried a Hamstick dipole. I saw the mounts being sold on Ebay and was wondering about this. How well do they work compared to a full 1/2 wave dipole.? To save some space I was thinking about setting one up for 80 meters. Jonbah CDX-3030

My 3900HG currently covers 25 something to 28.3 Can the band spread be modified to cover more of the 10 meter and less of the lower stuff. Maybe just jump up 1 band to cover to 28.8 . I've heard about crystal changes or can this be done with a jumper.? I'd rather cover 26.965 (ch 1) to the 10...
