My domestic conditions dried up a bit ago, but finally made it across the pond with my new mobile. Nice QSO with 205AT048, Paul, in Cape Verde. Had a solid 5/5 on him with minor QSB.

I must admit I got a little irritated while talking to SA, however. Working a station and QSY’d to a quiet freq. Then every time the station responds to me I hear, “How about it Venezuela? You gotta grip on Cooter in the Cornfields? Cooter and this ole two pill working my little ground plane and trying”

Had some conditions yesterday evening in Delaware. Just the normal east of the Mississippi kind of skip. It had been a while since I have been able to play radio, just too much stuff going on. I made a handful of contacts and played with my output on the scope. Hoping for good conditions on Sunday.

I recorded for about an hour, but didn’t talk except once at the end. Was hoping to hear a forum member or two, but none that I recognized.
It was quite the pileup...heard stations from LA, KY, OH, IN, OK, IL, TX, GA, AR, AL, TN, MI, ME, Ont CA, and probably a few more.

Still decent on the international side...made a few contacts in SA, hoping to work Chile, but I think all the Brazil stations are blowing their doors off.
