Yep it's wide open this evening here in the big state. A couples of quick qso's to NC and NJ as I walked in from work. Hopefully it'll stay alive for a while this evening. Sure hope to catch some of you fellas on there.

I believe I heard ForestRunner 98 very briefly this evening on 36LSB calling for an Australian station from a 917 Pasadena mobile. That was all I heard. I tried calling out a minute later but no luck.
It's open to the Pacific here and ten meters is very active.

I heard Australia this early evening before the sun started to set. He was talking to Maryland and New Jersey, but I could not get him. He QSYed to .410 and still couldn't make contact. I even flipped the big switch, guess its not big enough......

You heard me??!!! No way!! Ya that’s my call “917 Pasadena Mobile” There were a few stations coming back but they were getting covered. I tried to listen really hard if a station came back but I didn’t want to wreck. Was driving. I did make a few contacts though.
