Beginner ham antenna questions

Wish 10 would open up. Would be honored to work km4deo on, say 28.305. his radio should work there on his A99. If I hear Todd I will let you guys know, and start calling cq on 305

Solo'ed in a 150 in '79

My instructor and I wouldn't fit in a 150 unless we took off seriously short on fuel. I'm 6'1" and at that time weighed around 240...SHE was 6'1 and don't know what she weighed but it was well packaged...LOL. Her father was an EAL Captain (this was 1972) and she was working her way up, beginning as an instructor. Last I heard she was flying left seat for Piedmont, a regional sub-carrier for Delta way back.
 
I looked a Todd's log. Looks he worked some 8 lands around 1 oclock eastern. I should back home from a side job by then. Will try 28.305 pointed south.
