Used ones can be found from time to time, the 2600 did not get converted to CB use as much as the 2510/Lincoln did.

I recently found a Pinto SSB Transceiver JC Penny. It is in pretty good shape. I found a small coil inside that broke off from somewhere inside. I also found a little knob has been added at some point. There was no power wire. Is this worth getting fixed and holding on to it or is it junk ?

I just ordered a Stryker 497hpc. I've heard alot of good things about them and watched a few video's. I am curious about switching it over to the AM band so it can be used as a cb. Is it hard to convert it ? Is it something I can do myself or should I do the 95 mile ride to a cb shop and let them convert it ? Any info will be helpful. Thanks.

Hello, By chance do you still have a copy of the Washington 385 board Manual that Robb emailed to you a long time ago ? I saw that you guys were corresponding in a post back in 2016 and thought it was worth a shot. I cant find one anywhere.
