i am looking to run my rotor in line with win4icom software , is there software available [preferably free]..dont want HRD , dont need it just for rotor control ..if possibly using only for that purpose

I am thinking about adding the "extra element " in the MD200 yaesu mic ..the radio is the 7300 icom ..ordered some electret condensers , Panasonic 61a and another quality one .. looking for anyone who runs such a mic with electret mod done to md 200 ...do I need to be wary of the power from mic...

been looking at something with build quality as nowadays everything you buy is mass produced with quantity rather than quality been the norm , mr coilys enforcer , interceptor 10 , and BMTs Shockwave being main contenders ...the old is my trusty Avanti sigma 4 ..a very good antenna in its day...

just wondering if any you guy ever tuned your sigma 4 for any bands lower than 11mtrs ..without adding ant length to it ? ..thanks

my old yaesu ft 990 has stopped transmitting and receiving ...is it a common fault of this radio , mabee diode or something minor ...is a reset possible with this radio ...thanks billy

I am installing a new L2quad , I only want to put it up onceand want everything to be hunky dorey ...gonna use a couple of rf chokes for vertical and horizontal feeds ..do I install near feed on boom ..or would be better off a few inches down the mast ..? thanks ..KP160

I recently bought an antenna described as a maco shooting star ..the seller told me 1 of the gammas where missing and everything else was there ..well..bought the new /spare gamma from maco antenna parts but when I looked at the gamma that came with antenns its completely different gamma...

I have recently acquired 2 brand new in box radios ..president Jackson [black face ] and president grant [silver face ] both radios are export [U S ]..and say 10 mtrs on box ...now these radios are gold dust and don't want to be inside them any more than I have to ... President Grant...
